Both my 1 and 3 year old love this toy. We haven't had any of the mechanical issues mentioned by another reviewer. The coins are big enough and the slot big enough for little hands to "feed the piggy." Also, the tail is easy for little ones to push to get the coins out. The sound can be adjusted to off, quiet or normal, but I don't find the noises too annoying. I actually recommend this toy for young children. It gets a lot of use by my kids and their friends.

I got this toy as a gift for my 1 year old daughter. Turns out my 2 year old son liked it even more. He has speech delays so it really helped him learn how to say his colors correctly! Both kids were interested in for about 3 weeks but haven't played with it since. There's only so much it can do, so it's understandable that they're bored of it now. Hopefully they'll be excited about it once again in a month or so. Cute, simple toy!

We bought this toy for my daughter for her first birthday. She played with a classic Fisher Price cash register while visiting grandparents, but the coins that came with that toy long ago are now choking hazards. This is a great new spin on the learning concepts of that classic toy. She will often bring me the piggy to hold while she puts the coins in (I can adjust the angle a bit if needed) and then presses the tail to release them. Most of the time they come out fine. I've found that if they aren't totally in their slots on the drop-in, they don't come out on the first try. The sounds are short and sweet - no long annoying songs to listen to. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. My daughter loves it and so do I.

My daughter received this from her grandparents for Easter. It is cute and has fun sounds, but the coins only release from the slot about 50 percent of the time right out of the box. At 8 months old my little one needs help getting the coins back into the bank. She can work the tail on her own, but since nothing happens half the time she loses interest quickly.

Seems to be well made and sturdy. The youngest in my preschool class love this toy. I think most older babies would like it.
